Interfaith Emergency Services receives no government funding for our day to day operations. For more than two decades our financial support has come from churches, individuals, organizations and businesses providing both monetary and in-kind support for our programs and services. Special events are held throughout the year to raise additional financial support. Interfaith operates one thrift store in Ocala. The Thrift Store generates additional funds to support our prescription program. All donations are tax-deductible.

When you provide a donation to Interfaith Emergency Services, we believe you become part of our team. Whether you are providing a monetary donation, or cleaning out your closets to give clothes to the homeless, your support is appreciated throughout the community. We can provide a complete list of food and hygiene items we need the most - whether it's for an individual at Walmart catching the "buy one get one" sales or a group that wants a community service project. Other examples of donations include: clothing and winter coats, shoes and work boots, furniture, jewelry, appliances, and other household items.

How to make a Donation:

There are various ways you can make a financial donation. You can contact us in person by contacting Kayla at 352.629.8868 x202.  Setting up a monthly giving plan can help us more accurately budget for certain programs. For example: your donation of $25.00 per month to Interfaith Emergency Services will feed a child for one month through our Food 4 Kids program.

Donating by credit card can be done online easily below. You can designate what department receives your donation.

Interfaith Emergency Services Foundation:

The Interfaith Foundation is a separate 501C-3 non profit corporation created by Interfaith Emergency Services to provide additional resources and support for the mission of Interfaith Emergency Services. The Interfaith Foundation is operated by it's own Executive Director and Board of Directors with a singular focus of helping Interfaith Emergency Services in its service to the most needy within our community.

The Interfaith Foundation works to identify, solicit, and acquire donor gifts of cash, appreciated stock, as well as planned legacy gifts that are left through the donor's will. It is the long range goal of the Foundation to be able to provide for a significant portion of the annual operating expenses of Interfaith Emergency Services through an endowment.
